Opinel, Mycology Hunting Knife

Mycology hunting knife.  Created by Opinel to make it easier to cut and prepare mushrooms, this tool has a thin, curved blade with a serrated back, for easy removal of the cuticle.  It's natural varnished beechwood handle incorporates a wild boar hair brush for easy removal of soil.  This knife has a double safety ring "virobloc", created by Marcel Opinel in 1955, locks the blade either in open or closed position.  Has a pierced handle with a leather lace.  Opinel crowned hand hallmark etching, comes in a protective plastic package, (Made in France).
