Fontenille-Pataud, "Stag" Mushroom Collecting Knife

Fontenille-Pataud, "Stag" mushroom collecting knife.  This is a very special hawk bill style knife designed for mushroom collector's.  This knife is hand-made in Thiers, France in the shop of Fontennille-Pataud.  This nice knife measures 7" open, 4 1/4" closed and has a 3" oversize blade.  It features massive pieces of deer stag for the handles, hand filed back spring and blade back, and brass bolsters and liners.  The blade is engraved with a mushroom design and the hallmark: Fontenille-Pataud, Thiers France.  A leather carrying case is included with this knife.  This is a beautiful and impressive knife.  Additional pictures of this magnificent knife are available upon request.  (Note: Every "Stag" knife handle is different and is one of a kind).
